I just got a torch. How long will it take so it can go back to normal.

Well, you need to take it out of the bag first...

But seriously, once you acclimate it to the tank, give it proper flow and light, and maintain good parameters, if it's healthy it should open up in a few days at most.

Give it more than an hour to adjust/recover from the move.

First off. Congrats on the torch. From the look of the torch in the bag. It's super healthy and already somewhat out in the bag. That is what you want to see. Great coral.

Now. In your tank. Looks like you dipped it, maybe aggressive and it sucked in after placing in the tank. It will now take several hours possible next morning for it to adjust and come back out depending on time of day you got it and placed it in aquarium.

Nice. It came out. That is what you want. Looks like you turned off pumps for Pic. It should do well. It likes nice random flow and stable parms.
