Do torch and hammer corals act up when they are about to split heads or bifurcate their skeleton?

Nope, they don’t split like a mushroom. They will grow new skeleton which slowly grows out into new heads. My torches take about 3 months for a head to turn into 2.

Hmm then I wonder why these corals are acting odd over the past week. I always though they do this when they are about to split.

When hammers split they usually develop a bubble over the mouth first
Interesting. I’ve noticed this begin to occur on some of my hammers. It got me curious during direct feedings.

I’m just thinking it’s that time of the month. All of the Euphyllias are splitting
