Torches tentacles are short

Does anybody know why the green torches tentacles are short. The purple one are super long. Some are almost 12 inches at different times. The green are always short. They weren't always like that. The green one was my first coral in the tank. Tank is 2 yo now. The purple one has been in there 9 months. It's not cause their next to each other cause they were on other sides of the tank and the greens were short. They used to be as long as the purple ones. This didn't happen ovrnight. It was a very slow progression. Any ideas?

If you say on the other side of the tank they were longer i would assume you moved them... Now the may be getting different flow, it may be how the flow hits them now.

The green one was in that spot the whole time. They were a lot longer there. Nothing flow wise was changed. 2 mp-40 in the same spot same program f rt om day one. I move the purple one next to the green. After the green were already short.
