Torn between what light for a frag tank

You could start with a single Noopsyche K7 for $240 with mount and controller, which is the rough equivalent of a Hydra26 with less bells and whistles.

Then add a second light and mount for another $155 when ready. You would be able to grow anything in that 36" tank and get the more streamlined look you are desiring...

In a 10" deep tank the one will probably be enough unless you want wall to wall SPS

min backing out of the frag tank and opting for a 24x24x8 instead. One light

I think you had mentioned in another post that you solely want to use this tank for corals to grow, and in turn, I assume look good to try and sell/make the hobby profitable. That being said, you will find out quickly that good equipment matters. Good luck on your endeavors.

True but the range of lights and opinions ha some conflicted. I already got a Gyre xf330 which is ample amount for a 28-30g tank
