After a few questions on lighting i finally went ahead and placed my order for my new build. here is the list

This Will be a SPS only tank and will only be from the best SPS Coral company in the world..... BattleCorals.

I will post pics along the way and of course growth. Im coming from a LED tank. I was not happy with the growth. my parameters were perfect and my colors were nothing to brag about but my growth was so slow.......

Lets see what the Metal hilides can do.

Tell me about it. its so hard to pick anything he has. i wish i could get all of them but my tank is only 20G.


From all the things i ordered,only one thing came...

all but my skimmer arrived.... light is sick!! now just waiting till i move to set up and get some coral in!!!

Just a update. have the tank up and running. If it was not for Adam at battlecorals, i dont think i would have ever came back in the hobby. His corals are beautiful. Hes attention to detail with packing and coral will only have me coming for more.

If you guys have any questions just let me know. growth is easily a 1/4 every 2 weeks.

Current tank parameters are

ALK-9,Cal 450, mag 1400.

Dosing 1ml of alk,2ml of cal daily,mag 1ml every other day and acropower 1ml daily.

lights are 13in. from water level, had a issue with lights being to strong so had to raise.

Feeding brine every other day,2 clown fish.
