sadly Mr Blue passed yesterday along with the Morish Idol...

dont feel bad for me guys it my fishes that needs it..

cant help but feel like i've failed them...

only 4 left the 2 wrasses; purple tang and majestic foxface... they seem much better than to others and will probably be the survivors..

makes me just want to take out all the fish and slap about 20 chromis in there just to feed the corals and call it a day...

Kevan I think you must have introduce something else to your tank cause my tank goes through ick cycles and I never loose a fish. When I added my white cheeks all my fish got ick from it but non died

Sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately I have been there and done that and it SUCKS.

After it happened to me last year and I lost about 2/3 of my fish population I reached out to a longtime hobbyist and he recommended a UV sterilizer. However, he was VERY specific on the brand of UV and how to size it, plumb it, etc, etc.

His recommendation WORKS and he does have his critics. But since I installed my last year and numerous new arrives.....I have lost only 1-new fish.

To that end, he recommends the Aqua Ultraviolet brand sterilizer and it MUST MUST MUST be the 57W bulb classic series. In his 20+ years in the hobby and running his maintenance company he states it is something about getting the highest wattage bulb. And he also recommends running at the slowest possible GPM. I am running mine at 500gpm. I know that is not recommended by the manufacturer, but it does work period. It is contrary to what it out there for recommendations, but I have had 99% results with a UV operating as stated above.

it will be for additives (i'm really bad with keeping up with dosing regularly).. i'm running kalk and a CalRx

wanna try dosing some trace elements gonna try the RedSea Coral Coloration Program

Coral Coloration Program solution which enhance corals natural colors

I'd be very interested in how it works out for you. I'm starting the Fauna Marin balling light method here shorty and will be using their line of color products. I've read good things about the red sea product line from overseas forums and its typically either FM or Red Sea. Be sure to take some before shots if you don't mind.

Looks good, Kevan! I'm looking forward to see how the dosing goes for you.

Hey, I noticed something very disturbing in the second to the last photo. I think that your controller for your Tunze pumps, maybe the ATO, either way, whatever that blue and black control box is in the upper left corner. It's not level!:behindsofa: This is very serious Kevan. You need to get in there and make sure it's absolutely, perfectly level/square to match everything else that is perfect, I mean perfect on this build!

Other than that everything looks really, really good man. I'm jealous!!!
