Does anyone know if Xenia release toxins? Just weeded some out before it over takes my tank and other corals are closing up. If so how toxic is it? Do I need to do a water change?

Yes you have to remove it from your tank then thin it. yes it will release toxins in the water so give it a water change

Maybe run some carbon also.

If you cut or tore them in the tank, do a WC and run some carbon. I run carbon 24/7 just in case. Cutting most softies in the tank can cause issues.
