Hey everyone.
I am in the middle of my new build and I go out of town for about a week at a time sometimes,
I have mostly lps and softy’s and I Looking for opinions if I should be dosing trace elements. And if so what is the best way to put them on dosers so that he can automatically be done while I’m out of town. Without casing issues.
And what would be the best brand to use in your opinion If doing this.

thanks in advance!

I have used the Red Sea trace program as well as Tropic Marin All for Reef. I am currently using the All for Reef since it only requires one dosing head. I am in a similar situation where I only see my tank on the weekends.

I have the extra dos, what was your Strategy using the Red Sea not being able to test all the time? It’s what I’m thinking about using.

I based it off of my calcium uptake which I dialed in from testing week to week. I also only dosed half of the recommended dosage since I am not able to test for traces w/o an ICP test.

If youre changing water regularly , I would think twice about trace elements and rather consider dosing aminos
