Trachy heathy?

New to Trachys, researched them known about them, always wanted one. Just got one a few days ago and didn’t know if it was healthy or no. It’s all puffed up but is it supposed to be less? More? Idk lol any feedback helps. Here’s a pic

Ya looks good. Only way to tell the difference between a trashy or wellsi is to look at the skeleton under. Can't remember the difference. Lol.

I agree, looks healthy and if it’s puffed all the way out then it is most likely extremely happy.

Ya, looks healthy. Mine puffs up about three times times its size when under full lights. When the lights go down it contracts.

I believe trachy’s skeleton is cone shaped.

That looks great. They are all called trachyphyllia geoffroyi now. Used to differentiate T geoffroyi with cone base and Wellsophyllia radiata with flat base. My lfs still uses the older nomenclature.
