I’ve had a trachy since Saturday, it’s been looking healthy but always with one mouth open for some reason?

Anyway I’ve come home tonight and noticed it looks like it’s starting to retract, it’s been in the centre of my tank under heavy blue lighting, lowish flow, I’ve tried to spot feed without any luck, it doesn’t seem to react like my lobo and scoly do, it inflated during the night and this morning it looked like the flesh was twitching?!?

Any and all help is welcome as I don’t want to lose this coral, I have moved it to a more less directly lit part of the tank. I’ll attach some photos of position and the issue.

TIA

The last 2 pics look fine to me. It's normal for the inflation/deflation of the coral. If you see feeding tentacles out then try to give it small meaty items. Usually low to medium indirect flow and low to moderate flow will suffice. Kept ours under halides and T5 so I'm not sure if heavy blue from LEDs would have a negative affect on the coral. This was our trachy for reference, it swelled at night too.

It’s the first pic with the circle on it that worried me, it looks like the flesh is peeling back and like there’s exposed skeleton.

I’ve fed Reef Roids this evening and it’s gone mad for it! I need to get some meaty foods, what would you recommend?

Always fed reef nutrition mysis feast and LRS reef frenzy.

Right guys, come home from work and seen more skeletal exposed on the trachy, it’s been moved out of the light to a more dull area, it hasn’t been close to other corals and the rest looks plump and full, it took some Reef Roids last night but some was left over hanging out of its mouth. Do you think if it doesn’t retract anymore it’ll recover?
