Trachy starting to bleach out...help?

It looks like you may have more than bleaching going on. Low light, low flow as mentioned earlier. Try feeding it small pellets or Mysis shrimp. Smaller pieces may have a better result. A 1.5 inch piece is still pretty large imo and will require more effort for it to eat. What is your water parameters?

If your chemistry stays in line then yes I do believe it's salvageable.

After the lights go out at night, introduce a little food to the tank, this initiates a feeding response. Wait 20 minutes, turn off pumps, place plastic bottle over coral, introduce slurry through the spout, leave in place for roughly 10 min, remove and turn pumps on. Try this twice a week. You many not see a feeding response the first couple times. Do not over feed the rest of the tank trying to feed one coral, balance.

btw, look in it's mouth and see if there are any remains of the silverside in there. Sometimes the food particles are too large and they will start to rot before the coral can digest it, or your cuc might get in and start pulling at the tach's flesh trying to get to the silverside.

The only test i have currently is for PH. I'll have to buy a test kit for the others. I just started to get more into corals. And the silverside wasnt 1.5 inches. The trachy is 1.5 inches. I fed it a piece maybe a third of its size which it ate with quite the gusto. Ill try some of the mysis shrimp.

I put my LED's in acclimation mode as well and reduced it by another 30% for a week. Hopefully that will help some as well

Here is what it looks like now. I moved it to the area in the tank that gets the least amount of light
Mine looks like that too. My service guy calls them rental corals. He says he only has 1 customer that has kept one successfully . I had mine in a shady overhang. I’ve never seen it open its mouth for feeding.
