I have a couple smaller trachyphylia corals that have an almost triangle shaped skeletal structure on the bottom. I have them placed on my sanded so their color and shape is facing the front of the tank. Is this OK or should I push their skeletal structure down into the sand so they are facing the top of the tank for light absorption?

My Tracey actually get irritated by sand. I have mine elevated off the sand on a piece of shelf rock
