Hey reefers!
Reaching out for some knowledge. Does anyone know if Trachyphyllias can regrow their skeleton? My trachy detached from its skeleton about 9 months ago. I believe the reason was a combination of red slime algae and to high flow. Since this incident I've kept it in a jar in my tank and its been doing just fine. I was hoping it would regrow it so it could move back onto the reef, but I've seen no signs of that as of yet.

Thanks, and have a good midsummers eve!

Some of tissue will likely be lost but ive seen them regain a good portion of it

Cool, well I'm in no rush since it's doing fine in its jar for now. Would be really nice if it regrew the skeleton sooner or later so I could stick it back on the reef!
