Is this a normal appearance or is there something wrong? It was looking full and flaccid now it's full and puckering up. I moved it out into more of the open this evening thinking it was wanting more light. It has also been discharging a bit of brown ropey looking stuff from it's mouths (6 of them). I have spot fed it though with some fish frenzy and reef roids.
Tank is a RSM 250 66 gallon.
I have 3 actinic, 2 white, and 1 pink T5 ho bulbs. I'm new to the hobby so any advice is helpful. Most of my Zoa frags are extending as well which looks cool.

My tank levels are

Ammonia 0
Nitrites .2
Nitrates 5
Salinity 35 ppt
Temp 81 deg F
Been dosing Red Sea NoPox

That specimen is definitely in trouble. The tiny trace of nitrites may indicate you are still in the middle of a cycle which could also explain the corals response

I'd also like to add that, if the tank is perhaps still new and in mid cycle, you should maybe hold off on the carbon dosing (Nopox) until things settle in.

Ok, no more nopox and I'll step up the frequency of water changes. Maybe another shot of tims all in one? I hope it pulls through.

Yeah first get the tims, wait a few days, check ammonia and nitrites. Then do a water change. You don't want to do big water changes through the middle of your cycle. It will prolong your cycle and prevent your beneficial bacterias from colonizing and establishing themselves.

Makes sense. Thanks
