Is there possibly a connection between my bubble tip and Emilie splitting and my trachy and elegance coral not looking great?
Ammonia is zero, nitrates are 10 to 15. Alkalinity 8.3 calcium 410. Water changed 10 days ago, specific gravity 1.024. It usually is slightly higher at 1.026.

This is a photo of what the trachy usually looks like.

might be the nitrates, in my experience trachys don't like them that high same with the elegance. could also be the salinity swing, my elegance almost died when I had one after it had been constant for a long time

Thanks for the advice. I will do a water change to get the nitrates down and let’s see what happens.

Do you have any other advice on caring for the trachy and elegance?

I would say do the water change and try to get the nitrates down to 5 but no less than 1 since trachys and elegance need some to survive, they both like dirtier tanks but nitrates over 5 are usually detrimental to them, as far as care goes make sure to feed both of them atleast once a week with some reef roids, pellet, or meaty frozen food, i feed mine multiple times a week and it keeps them fat and puffy, if they done get enough food they will typically start to receed. also make sure you are not blasting them with UV from an led light, they like lower lighting and uv really hurts them.
