Hi i recently acquired a red and green Trachyphyllia from a friend. got a good deal on it $90. I am little concerned by the way its opened. as you can see from the photos i am seeing its "bone Ribs" by its mouth and i am used to seeing these guys all bubbled up with seeing a smooth bubbly surface at the mouth area. Wanted to know if this was normal. He is currently on the sand bed in a moderate to low flow area with plenty of light, I do have a sand sifter diamond spot goby that i do not believe its bothering the coral. he may be cleaning up near his sides but not dumping sand nor irritating the brain. my parameters are up to par and every other coral is thriving in my tank. I have atatched another photo of one of my Rainbow splatters that is thriving not showing those ribs near its mouth.
PLease let me know if you have any advice.

Weird, what was the condition like when you bought it? I have not owned one in the past, but maybe this will help give you a bump.
