I picked up a beautiful Trachyphyllia about 5 days ago now. I've done a little bit of searching on what the coral looks like when it's open (inflated?) and I have not really seen a difference so far. I am unsure if it's still acclimating or it just does not like where it is placed. From what I've found it seems that some (or maybe all?) have tentacles out, maybe at night but I have not seen that. I've seen the mouth open and close just a little bit but it did not react when I tried spot feeding it.

Any thoughts or is there nothing really to worry about just yet?

Welcome to R2R, pop it on the sandbed, they are not very fond of big flow, just looks sulky to me.
