Hey! I’m looking for some help on my Trachyphyllia, I have had it for about 3 months now and I came down stairs as it’s just looking mad at me. I haven’t see in look like this, so I called around and got advice to move it from its current location so I did, but I’m hoping someone could maybe tell me what’s wrong? Below I have a before and after

I am so sorry, I love my trachy, but it looks like it’s a goner. Very little flesh if any. Without knowing water parameters, lighting par it’s hard to tell. Infection might come into play as well.

I have to agree with kevgib67. Even in the before photo it doesn't look super healthy.

Tissue very receeded. Not yet a goner but something going on in water
Assure moderate light and water flow and you have the followig parameters:
Temp 77-79
ph 8.1-8.3
salinity 1.025
nitrate < .10
phos < .04 - .06
Ammonia < .03
mG 1300
Alk 8-11
CA 400- 440

I hope I can save it, The before photo was the first day I bought it, I tested alkalinity and I’m at 9.6 dkh, I also tested the PH and I’m at 8.4, Salt sanity is at 35.4

If that was the day you bought it, you bought a sick trachy. I am very sorry. Was this shipped to you? Or was it from your lfs?

Add aminos to the water and assure there are no grey bugs on it as well as sand
