Please take a moment of silence and remembrance. Many of you know Trent from Aquatic Marine. I am saddened to say he passed away today in a car wreck. I can honestly say Trent was a great guy and I enjoyed chatting with when ever I saw him. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this difficult time.

Trent was a great person, he will be dearly missed. The Roberts family will be in my thoughts.

I will forever miss the hand pound coming in the door to Aquatic Marine. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Trent was a super nice guy and was the biggest reason Bobby (his father) opened Aquatic Marine. I think it would be nice if the reef club sent flowers to show our appreciation for Trent and the Roberts family for everything they have done for us as friends and fellow hobbyists.

Agreed. I never crossed the threshold of aquatic marine without a fist bump from Trent. I can only imagine how devastated Bobby is. Aquatic Marine was my go to store when I first got in the hobby, and I still get by there at least once a week. I whole heartily agree to sending flowers. Aquatic Marine has supported ETRC for a while, and we should show some support back to them.

I am so sorry to hear this. I just spoke with him this week and he went out of his way to help me. He will be missed.

One of the things I respected the most about Trent, he would read his daily scriptures before opening the shop in the morning. It's just one of those little things that come to mind in times like this.

Tragic. Trent always went out of his way to help me in the shop, one of the people i enjoyed staying and getting caught up in conversation with him and the other guys at aquatic. So sad.

Trent was in the SUV in that horrible wreck on i40 today that claimed 8 lives. What a tragic day.

"Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words." -Francis of Assisi

It has been vogue lately for some preachers to attack this quote as encouraging Christians to not speak out about Christ. I think, though, that Francis meant that we should live our lives in such a manner that it is obvious to those around us that the Spirit of God lives in us. From what I've seen of Trent, he as such a person. In myself, you would have to dig hard through all my character flaws to find enough evidence to convict me of being a Christian. With Trent, the love of Jesus was plainly reflected by who he was. As sure as I can be of anyone by looking at them from the outside, I am sure he is with The Lord now. May the peace of Christ be with his family in their grief over being separated from him.

EDIT: I would also like to add this link to a great song with a great message embedded in the interlude. May it have meaning to Trent's family:
