I am about to transfer my 2 clowns, damsel and mixed corals from their existing 29g to a 65g. I have cycled the tank. I have new sand and cycled Dry Rock already in the new tank. I went so far as to add additional bacteria to the new tank and confirmed it can cycle out 2.0 ppm ammonia with in 24 hrs as well. The question I have is that the Alkalinity differs between the 29g (@7) and the 65g (@10). Also the Phos and Nitrate are lower in the 65g then in the 29g due to the lack of any existing Bioload. My concern is that I don't want to lose anything when move them. I have some SPS, but mostly LPS and Zoas. CUC as well. Who moves first or does it even matter?
If I posted in the wrong place please feel free to move.

Oh and the CUC first. Move everything in sections.
Don't go crazy and keep an eye on ammonia. Cheers!
Awesome will do thanks!!!

Just a heads up for the cuc. Make sure they actually have something to eat. Going from a fully established system with micro algae to a zero algae system will be hard on them to scavenge anything. Something to think about :)

Good point I was going to take out a large rock from the 29 to let them graze on and I have some small seaweed sheets. Will that work until things catch up?

You could probably just do the rock depending on how many cuc you have lol
