Ok i have a Lemon Peel Tang that has been in Cupramine for 35 days. He is now ready for the main display.

1. Should i use Cuprisorb to remove the copper from QT first with fish in it and then transfer to the Main Display.

or

2. Can i just transfer the fish without removing the copper? It will be going in a 120 gallon tank. I'm sure the amount of copper on the fish alone could not hurt the main display but i'm unsure.

Just want to do this right.

I would remove the copper with cuprisorb first, then observe for a week or two more in case something pops up that isn't treated with copper. Even if you choose not to take the observation period, I would still remove the copper first as it's not just the fish that ends up in the tank. The net will hold water and drop copper into the system. It may not make a difference to your system, but it also might. better safe than sorry.
