I am moving my coral QT from a 10G to a 15G (can't go bigger due to space). I plan on using as much (~9G) water from the 10G QT and transferring it to the 15G. I will then bag acclimate the corals and two shrimp. My question is, do I need to drip acclimate the shrimp and corals if my temp and SG of the new water is similar? Not sure how the pH is going to turn out.

FYI, I will also be moving the LR but I will get new LS. I will also use the same HOB, heater etc.

Thanks,
Steve

I personally wouldnt. I dont see a difference between what you are doing, and a waterchange.

Match the SG and the temp, and do the switch!
