Translucent Critter?

Can anyone ID this thing? I’m assuming it’s a pest. Closest thing I could find is a limpet, not not exactly a match. Look an about 7:00 from the bottom of my Rock Flower. Any ideas? Keep or try to eradicate? Thank you.

Does it close up if touched? Can you see any shell?
It looks to me like some type of scallop embedded in the rock.

Edit: If it is a scallop, it is probably considered a harmless filter feeder.

It does close like a clam or scallop. Looks to have a shell. Curious how he got in there, but he must of been in there awhile. Thanks for your responses
