Hey all
Got a few of these scattered around my tank

It’s translucent and has a hole at the top of it on all the ones I’ve found round my tank
Same sort of shape also

Anyone know what it is ?

Sponge or tunicate hard to tell but I think tunicate harmless filter feeders!
I came up with a similar ID but could i be wrong ? Looked through a tone of pics to try ID these suckers with no luck tunicate sounds right but there’s no colour or markings on it just pure translucent blue/grey like the pic shows

There’s so so so many species of both so getting a scientific name is nearly impossible especially when they have a general shape/color and no distinct markings or shape.

Think il keep a close eye on it and with no really fish or predators only
Got clown fish and a dragnet fish hoping it will flourish without being bothered by anything

A structure like that with a tube is almost always a sponge or tunicate.

It almost looks like this but not quite. So a solitary bulb tunicate/sea squirt.

Clavelina meridionalis Bulb tunicate, Sea Squirt. But I cannot attest to size.
