I bought a mushroom the other day from my LFS and I swear it looked transparent with pink dots. Once she had taken the coral out of the water and kept it in the bag it came back to me fully pink. I know that some corals can change colors when stressed but I'm just wondering if it's possible she switched the corals or if mushrooms really do change colors when stressed. I'll send some photos of the now pink mushrooms. I have had them in my tank for less than a day.

PS (It was transparent under pure blue light. Not sure if it makes a difference)

A picture or two under white lighting will be helpful with identifying issue

Thanks for the reply Vetteguy but I have understood my issue. I borrowed a friend's par metre and let's just say the light was WAYYYYY to bright. I also did a full water test and ammonia was through the roof. Did a 30 percent water change and moved the corals. I'll give you an update soon.
