Cooler for sure. Most vendors will hold corals purchased on Sat & you can pick up on Sunday. Corals will also be fine overnight in a cooler if you were driving back on Sunday AM.

Agreed...Two hour drive in a cooler shouldn't be a problem. I've brought corals home from Orlando and I'm 3+ hours from there.

I often buy corals from an LFS which is about a half hour from my house, but I have to get there before they close up shop (usually about 6pm). So I end up carrying a bag (of bags) of corals around with me for several hours those evenings before I head home, they are usually small SPS frags. Just keep them away from cats!

If you are staying the night, it might be worth heating some water with a small heater (in a water tight container) to keep the temperature up, even if you just floated the bag over night. I would probably go all out and bring a 5 gallon tank with heat, flow and oxygen to set up for the night, lol...
