Transporting Live rock

Best way to transport liverock from one place to another ? Meaning 1-3hrs on the road..

The best way is wet.....totally submerged. The second best is covered with newspaper that is wet with saltwater and all kept in a closed bin of some sort.

Does the salt water have to be newly mixed or from my tank?

Tank or fresh mix......doesn't matter.....just keep it moist.
