I am sick. Like, it's kind of a miracle I'm online right now sick. I do not have the energy or time available to do anything right now.

My concern is that I got a free frag of zoas from AquaSD. I freakin' love buying stuff from there. Anyway- the zoas were a little loose. There are maybe 15-20 heads, but they were attached by one piece underneath on the frag. I did the things, then a week or so ago I glued the frag to my rock. They were sort of waving in the current, so I turned my power heads down to about 40%, hoping they would attach a little better. I was watching them all last week.

Then I got sick Friday and I was wrecked. Didn't do my water changes, barely been feeding my fish (6 tanks rn). Just came out to sit for the first time today, and the ball of polyps is rolling around in the sand. It let go/broke off. I am hoping it will be ok until tomorrow or whenever I'm not dying.

What are the concerns I'm looking at here? Also, when I can finally get my hands in there again, do I just use glue straight on the bottom?

I have several zoa/paly colonies on my sand. My urchin moves stuff around all the time so I have patches of all sorts of stuff all over. I wouldn’t worry, they will stick to a location and start growing.

You can glue them to bottom, it can be tricky due to the mucous they produce. When fragging I always dried the bottom of the stalks/mat with a paper towel then glued. I wouldn't sweat it, hope you feel better.
