Yeah, we are very fortunate that AGE is going so far to make this right. I am sure its a major headache for them time and cost wise, but they are standing behind their product and IMO that's the backbone of a truly successful business.
Can't wait to get the new tank and fill it with corals and our poor fish that are stuck down in QT, LOL! I may even have to get the stand rebuilt in the fishroom, and get them into the 300g sump as soon as we finish the second round of prazi pro. 7 tangs (including a good sized juvi dussumieri) in 2 40g's for over 2 months must be some type of record... Thank you Humblefish, couldn't of pulled that off without ya bro...

Time to add a little substance to this thread in the form of some coral photos!
Forgive me for the strange white balance issues on some of the photos, I did my best to correct it. These were taken under 3 ATI blue+ and 1 ATI coral+ bulbs. The middle bank of 4 bulbs are all turned off. Some photos were basically directly under 2 blue+ on the one side side of the fixture and others were directly under 1 coral+ and 1 blue+ on the other side of the fixture. No actinics burning or anything, but it still gives you an idea at least. I know some of the photos are a bit out of focus but I was really stretching and leaning in strange ways to get a few of these shots. I was also pretty tired from a long work day, so just didn't feel like shooting all night to get some super clear photos. Lol.
Also try not to focus on that pesky algae in some of the photos, we are working on that. That return pump impeller jamming up really did a number on nutrient export. And to top it off all 3 of the large tangs are in one 100g, while the tank that had the return pump fail/algae issues only has one small 4" yellow eyed kole tang for algae clean up. He/she is trying, but that little yellow eyed kole just can't manage all that space alone.

Update.
Sorry for the wait. Thanks for checking in guys. New tank is up on the stand and plumbed. Rock is re-worked. Fish are all in the display tank since last Wednesday night. Stand is trim-less, the trim is pretty beat up from pulling it all off to rebuild the stand width. We have 2 rw15's in the tank now on high and those are blowing the sand into dunes, will add the 2 rw20's soon. In the photo the glass is dirty from filling 50g at a time with pre mixed saltwater. Fish room is running, the regal 250 is pumping out the skim. Sump stand is rebuilt much lower, need to figure out a new spot to keep the water barrels now. Qt's are empty. Still need to get a bunch of stuff organized and do some wire management, but at least we are moving water.
We still need to build a canopy so we can get the lights on and get the corals transferred into the display tank. Trying to decide if we want to do cabinet doors for access inside the canopy or a hinged opening lid type of setup. Suggestions welcome!

Awesome build if you want my opinion I would go with doors but also make the top easily removable if you need to get in there. Reason is a lid for the whole tank will be either heavy to have to open for feeding and such, much easier to go through doors. If you try to make the lid light weight then with the moisture it may bow the lid (or mine did on my old 180 i made). However your carpentry skills seem better than mine sooooooo

Thanks! That's a good point about making a lid that is easily removable, I hadn't thought about that. I really like that idea, doors for easy front access with a lightweight removable top lid. I guess I am mostly worried about doing maintenance through the doors, I am a smaller guy but still worried about squeezing in to do stuff on the back side of the tank etc. Honestly between you and I, my carpentry skills are moderate at best I just keep working on the stuff until it looks some what acceptable, lol.
LOL! Yes still alive and kicking over here, and the new tank is up and running. Its really nice to finally have a running display tank after all of this, I am sure the fish are pretty happy too. Now its time to build a canopy so we can light the tank and get this show started.

Update. Here is a quick cell phone photo of the stand/canopy. The panels are removable for access, made them magnetic for easy operation and the ability to take them completely off for good accessibility while cleaning leaning through the canopy. It also has panels on each side of the canopy as well that you cannot see in this photo. When I have some time I will get some good in depth shots of the inside of the canopy and stuff.
Would like to set up an auto waterchange setup and a real top off system sometime very soon. Our top off is a maxijet in a 45g brute on a timer using a valve on the water hose to control the amount of water flowing. LOL! It turns on for 1 minute 4 times per day, pretty ghetto.
Here is a quick cell photo with the lights on and everyone waiting for lunch.

We pulled the trigger on the Genesis Renew Pro AWC system paired with the Storm Pro ATO. Also went ahead and ordered 2 100g ace roto mold vertical water holding tanks from rural king. Rural king offers free shipping on orders over $99, can't really beat that.
The AWC and ATO should arrive tomorrow. 100g water tanks said "4-6 weeks- ships directly from supplier", so who knows when those will show.

thanks for sharing - the water storage tanks are excluded from free shipping as these are oversized items requiring the typical LTL freight fees. are you sure you got the tanks with free shipping?

Yeah, that is all they charged us. In the checkout area you are able to opt out of the $24 ups shipping and select "free shipping". I thought they were excluded from the free shipping deal as well, but the option was available for free shipping at checkout. Honestly I thought the $24 ups shipping for 2 100g containers was pretty reasonable too, so even if we had to pay shipping its not a deal breaker.

that's great it worked out for you. it won't let me free my order of the $192 freight fee for the same ace roto mold tank. called in and they said free shipping is excluded from those items due to size. awesome grab for you!

That's weird. I thought Rural king didnt ship freight they ship ups?
