I went on a 4 day vacation and when I came back I see my Sohal Tang completely getting wrecked by one of my clownfish. I took the tang out and put him in a separate quarantine. I feel absolutely horrible about this. Is there anything I can do to help is survival?

Usually a tang will fend for themselves, what was the aggression like?

It was like a shark on minnow. You can see from the pics the clown tore him to shreds

That looks nasty. Good water quality and lots of high quality food should help him recover just fine.

What species of clown is it? If it’s one of the bigger/more aggressive ones then that would tell me you can’t add fish smaller than it anymore.

Just a plain old occelaris in a 200G system. He/she is just paired up and very territorial
