Treat Rock/Coral for Ich Options

Long story short, I have piece of rock with some nice sponges that has been exposed to ich. Is waiting 72 days (fallow) my only option to be sure it's ich free?

If you want to keep the sponges and such on it, then yes. Otherwise you could dry it out completely and go through the process of cleaning, curing ect.

Ok. That's what I would normally do, but I'd like to get some sponge growth in my display and this rock is covered in them.
