I’ve heard engineer gobies are sensitive because They have no scales or something. Would an engineer goby be fine to be treated in a qt tank with Hikari ich x?

You can try it. Not sure there is a lot of evidence that Malachite green is that helpful.

Hypo may be more effective in this case (but I don’t have any experience with either method). Coppersafe is also better for scaleless fish if I’m correct.

I got some reef safe meds in the mail so I’m just treating the remaining 3 fish in the display tank with that and the qt one separately.

Reef safe meds - may not be anywhere near as effective as a QT tank. Totally agree with shark bait.

It contains Malachite green and formalin and is safe for scaleless fish, Should be administered in a quarantine tank

Just finished a 14 day QT in copperpower at 2.5ppm for a pair including metro and prazi. Had zero issues. They ate just fine with everything I put in from reef flakes to TDO. They were about 3.5 inches. FYI for those that are interested in QT'ing.
