It looks like my fish has ich :(
i have 2 tanks that i am treating my fish with cupramine
One is a 10g tank and the other is a 5g tank

I put 10 drops of cupramine in my 10g tank and had a reading of 0.26 on my hanna checker

i put 5 drops of cupramine in my 5g tank and had a reading of 0.12 on my hanna checker

I read online that .20 and .25 is the therapeutic levels for cooper. Is this correct?
I may have to add more to my 5g tank.

Am i doing this right? any advice will be appreciated.

The therapeutic level for use in "Saltwater" is 0.50
for "freshwater" it is 0.25

Generally speaking, for saltwater tanks it takes 4 drops per gallon (actual gallons, most tanks are not the size they say they are) to reach therapeutic. You can measure your tank's dimensions and use one of the online calculators to find out the "actual" gallon size of your tank. Or do a trial filling with a measuring cup to achieve the same "actual" gallon size of your tank.

Best to slowly add the drops over 3-4 days spread out equally. Doing the two big doses that are recommended on the package can be very harsh on some fish.

Wait a few hours after dosing before using the Hanna to check levels.

This exactly. I’ve always tested copper within 10 minutes and not had trouble but my quarantine tanks have lots of water movement.
