Treating DT with Cupramine ? Experiences

How many of you successfully treated FOWLR with cupramine ? What were your experiences ? I know most people say no on this but I have seen people doing this. ... just wanted to know your opinions .. Like experiences with LR bare bottom DSb etc..
Mine is a 220 FOWLR bare bottom .

How was it live rock absorbed? Was difficult to maintain levels?

The system I used it on (1200 gallons) had minimal LR, but lots of coral sand, we didn’t have any issue just tested weekly. I’ve heard though, other people haven’t seen the same results, could be some difference in the rock used, more artificial rock out there now.
If you can pull some of the LR, you’ll risk less of it. Maybe replace it with pvc pieces during the treatment?
