Has anyone treated ick with temperature what's the highest you would go. Right now a new clown fish I just put in my tank looks like it has a little ick on it. I'm feeding it that Dr. G stuff but I don't know what else to do.

^^I agree. This is a myth based primarily on freshwater ich which is nothing like marine crypt (ich)

yeah, heat does nothing unless you get it so hot that its going to kill your fish anyway. lets get some info on this.
post a pic of the fish so we can see if it is, or isn't crypto, remember, clowns are somewhat sensitive to marine velvet.
How long have you had the fish?
Did you quarantine or dip the fish before putting in your display tank?
what other fish are in your tank?
do you have a spare tank to be able to run fishless for 72 days?

It doesn't work. Tried it with my native tank. Had to let all my fishies back in the ocean and start all over again.

Raising temp to 40C/104F for one hour will kill ich and everything else in your tank. ;)
