I noticed today that a couple of frags I got about a month ago have zoapox and now I see them on my Tubbs Blue colony. I took them out and they are in a Furan 2 dip. Couple of questions:

1. Do I put them back in the MT or QT after the dip?
2. Do you think I should dip all of my zoas? I'm afraid for my higher end zoas (Rastas, Kaleidescopes, Blue hornets, Sunny Ds, Dath Mauls, Candy Apple Reds, etc...) All other colonies and frags are open and look good.

Does anyone have experience with a UV slowing or stopping the spread? Seems like a waterborn disease, the way it spreads. Have to start a treatment on gf's new tank already...

When I dip my polyps, if the ones in the main tank are infected, I treat " ALL " polyps from the tank. even the un-infected, I look at it as preventative maintinance. Pox if pretty infectious so if you have some that have it... it's pretty good to treat others. But with furan, I did notice some polyps DO NOT like it what so ever. Just like some don't like DIPS.

That last part is what worries me. It sounds like a crap shoot to be preventative. And I don't know if I want to risk my rastas, nightmares, darth mauls, etc... It makes me want to wait to see if these higher end zoas get it.

Anybody comment as to whether they just keep putting the infected zoas back in MT or QT during this treatment.
