Ultra Corals/Trey Henderson
After two months of trying to get my money, I have decided to start sharing my horror story about Trey Henderson and Ultra Corals.
As many of you know, I broke down my tank in the beginning of October. I called Trey at Ultra Corals to see if he wanted to buy my fish, and he offered to buy my whole set up instead. So the following weekend I loaded up the car with an ATI Sunpower 6X54, two MP40w/ES, a vortech battery back up, SRO 1000 skimmer, my fish, and some corals. Trey offered me 400 dollars cash and a 930 dollar check to cover the rest, as the ATM wouldn't allow him to pull more money out. I deposited the check that next Monday, and it came back as insufficient rejected for insufficient funds. Trey assured me that the money was there, so we attempted to deposit the reissued check a few days later. Bounced again.
Trey wouldn't reply to my messages or phone calls, and when he did, it would only be to offer an excuse. I gave him multiple options for paying me back, to include installments over a period of time, but he was never able to make a single payment. Every time he would tell me, "Ill have the money for you by Friday", Friday would come and there would be nothing. This happened on December 13th, which was the last straw as by that point it had been two months.
I kept quiet about the ordeal during it, in hopes that I would receive my money and I wouldn't have to make a public scene. But in good conscience, I have to tell people about it so that they don't make the same mistake of expecting Trey Henderson at Ultra Corals to repay his debts.
