Tribute to the DEAD!

dang could have fragged it up and sold it instead of tossing it all or even given it away to newbies or somthing

Well if he did that he would have had a chance of also giving away eggs and haveing them infest someone elses tank, and if it was a newbie they would not be ready for such a battle IMO.

I know I would have taken soem frag for myself and started a QT with them in it, also depending on how long ago FWE (Flat Worm Exit) was just being used as a treatment or a preventative messure?

Did you get those from gateway aquatics? I had 4 polyps that I lost and have been looking for them ever since :( Do you know of anyone else that has them?

Yup, got them from Gateway. I've lost my share of zoas, but these are the only ones that make me tear up a little when I come across my old pics of them.

Luckily, I've been seeing more and more morphs of the tiny polyped zoas coming in around here...just waiting for the shipment that has some like the old Bahama Blues.

I have seen them sold at one other online place. I *think* it was Pure Captive, but not sure. They were listed as Blue Microdots.

If you ever manage to find any bahama blues or know anyone that does, PLEASE contact me. Gateway is local to me and I know that he hasn't gotten any more like that in :(

having dealt with monti eating nudis and tossing most of my monti's, there comes a point where you sacrifice the coral simply for the smile you get from knowing the aefw are dead.

Amen to that, I had the nudies once, and I am guessing if you have 1 SPS w/ AEFW it wouldn't take long for it to breed and eat others? DO the worms lay eggs very often like nudies? Or do they just eat one coral and then move on?

Oh here is another I lost and miss dearly.

Makin me sick going through my old photos LOL, live and learn right! That IMO is the only way to get experiance in the old days before the net and all the good books, it would seem he who lost the most corals should be the most knowledgeable.
