Hello, I'd like to start a reef in my room. However, I already have a 90 gallon tank in it. My room isn't too large, either. The following images represent my room, the hallway outside of it, my bed positioning (can be changed), and where my 90 gallon tank is. It also shows the correct amount of support beams underneath. I had a 36 gallon bowfront opposite my 90 gallon next to the bed at one point, so I know it can hold at least that much weight. How large of a tank do you think I can get and where would be the safest placement?

I appreciate your advice and experience,

Misbar

Hang your bed form the ceiling and place a big tank under the bed

Lol, I wish. I think I will just end up sticking with a small tank across from the big one. I read an article that said the usual house floor can hold at least 1500lbs (not counting safety factor).

Thanks,

Misbar
