It scared the heck out of me. I picked up a zoa colony and felt something big squirming on my hand :) Almost dropped the rock.

Man, now thats something you dont see everyday...

Yikes! What a trip! Hope there aren't any babies in your tank!

I dont have clams any more so there is nothing to feed any babies. I actually found this one in a zoanthid colony. I left some zoanthids in the QT tank with the flatworm and he did not touch them. It withered away and died in a few weeks.

Even though they are big, they are nearly invisible in the rockwork. They can squeeze into the tiniest of holes and normally dont come out til its dark. I can see people having these and never knowing it.

this one looks really similar to the one they found at aquamart in the denver area in CO

I had two of those in my tank and I have two clams (one 9"+, one 4") I got both out but not before they ate half of my snails and two serpent stars. Well, they just ate the legs off of my serpent star. That was how I got the second one out, he was eating the last leg on my star so I took them out together. My clams are up high on the rocks so I think they hadn't made it up there yet.
