Tridacna species for 25 gallon?

I plan on setting up a 25 gallon tank, and eventually, after about 1 year or more, adding a tridacna clam. Is there any species of tridacna that can live it's whole life in a 25 gallon tank?

I plan on getting this light: (https://www.amazon.com/VIPARSPECTRA...e/dp/B00UMXAR5S?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_3&th=1&psc=1), it supposedly has about 200 par in the substrate at a depth of 17 inches, which is my aquarium height. Do you thinks it will be enough?

I agree with T. Crocea. They stay kinda small (compared to other Tridacna) and grow slow. They also need the most light of any clam.

I have no doubt that Vipar light will make 200 PAR on sand, but that would be at 100%, which you will most likely not run that high. You might need a few T5s to get up to 200-250 for the clam. These are rock dwelling clams, so you can always keep it higher in the tank where there is more output.

Knop and Fatherree both agree on this. I, of course, have no way of knowing beyond my own experiences, but I do trust these guys. The few Crocea that I have kept and grown were near the top of the rock work... and I use metal halides. Riddle has done some zoox tests on Tridacna and has not been able to photoinhibit any of them.
