Just wanted to know for all the trident users, what your setting was for auto dosing and if it kept stable at your set range. Thank you!

I am actually incredibly impressed on how well it keeps it. I have it set at a DKH at 8 and Calcium at 450. The Trident has been keeping it between 7.9 and 8.0. Calcium between 430 and 450. Here is an older video of my tank I will update it soon: Video is pre Trident.

And would you know what your setting for this page is?

I changed my value to 8.0 and left the range and limit alone at where Neptune Systems had it. I did the same for Calcium changing the value to 450.

I am off on what it takes to maintain those parameters and what I programmed into the Trident, and probably need to adjust them with the amount of dosing needed. I will top out at 8.0 and 450 which means when the Trident doses what I told it to my levels fall slightly. The Trident then is upping the dosage to get it back in line automatically. If I correct my data it probably will be able to keep the parameters even more consistent. Like I said I am very impressed with it.

I too have the trident and am very impressed... so much so I trust it to now handle my set ranges.

I haven't had to mess around with the ranges as it keeps my Alk within +/- .1 dkh and Cal within +/- 15 ppm. The only time it may drift a little is when the reagents start to get low.

Just wanted to ask you! How did you keep it in that .1 dkh range?

I have an idea how much to dose to begin with and then let the Doser adjust. I run Kalkwasser at night to help with PH and dose less Alk at night due to the Kalk and the thought that the corals take in less Alk at night with the lights out. The Doser will then increase or decrease the dose based off the last reading.

Here is an updated video of the tank:
