Do you have to use the calibration solution Neptune provides with the reagents with that specific set of reagents or can you use the calibration solutions independently to recalibrate more frequently than when you change the reagent?

You can use it independently, as you enter the value on the bottle when calibrating. Neptune systems offers it separately on their site, if you want to do multiple calibrations. Note that they say it is only good for 8 hours or something after opening.

Thought so. My trident is acting funny, so I’m going to do a manual test tomorrow, then recalibrate. Only 1/2 through the current bottles, do I’d prefer not to waste it.
