Have any of you tested the trident calibration solution for salinity? If so what values have you gotten?

Just trying to compare some values. I’ve tested 3 of my previous batches. All came back as 1.025 salinity. If others read the same value I propose that this could be used as a refractive index calibration solution as well

Anyone else able to test some leftover calibration fluid with a refractometer?

Just used my Milwaukee ma887 and reads 33. Fluid was opened about month ago

Spot on with all my bottles. I’ve tested 4 so far. Some were opened month ago others a few weeks ago. All have the cap on. Likely fine to use to calibrate refractometer to 1.025. I’d like to test the Alk, Ca, Mg next on them over time.
