No kidding. What a disaster it would be for Neptune and many reefers if something happened like the Trident running alk up to 15 in a low nutrient tank. I'll be happy to wait and just stick with weekly testing till they are 100% sure the thing is perfect.
the trident doesnt control alk dosing so by definition, it cant run up your alk.

It isnt going to be here by Christmas and at this point, that is fine. Hopefully the alkatronics will be back in stock and I can ask Santa for one when I go to the mall.

Ive seen a distributor’s test unit going, so some people have them. Neptune is being highly secretive- makes em sign their life away. Tamper resistant screws, and then a seal that shows if it’s been opened. Neptune does recalls on all of them whenever they encounter an issue, fixes it, and sends them back, usually every 2-3 weeks.
I believe that but the distributors are not the apex insiders. So the answer to the question do public beta testers have them? No.

We would have heard by now.

how about @Terrance.. any info? any?

Um. Let me restate that - Yes but the telemetry from the device will be used in conjunction with dosing pumps. Faulty telemetry could cause a disaster. I would rather wait for a device that Neptune feels is perfect.

I was under the impression that the NSI testers haven't seen the product yet?

It won't be hard for them to tell all the NSI testers to be secretive or even make him sign a contract saying they cannot say anything about it.

I agree, but some of the testers have flat out said they haven't received it, which is different than being secretive or a contractual agreement stating not to say anything at all.

I can't remember where, but I do recall Neptune saying they don't require a NDA to be a NSI tester. I (think, it crashed a lot) applied for NSI but never heard anything either way.

No NSI yet.

No specific dates yet.

We continue to move it forward and NSI will be first to have them and not far off.

NSI members are requested to give feedback on private channels but there is no NDA for the average NSI.

It’s funny to see how misinformation circles around. :)

Thank you for some real info, that is exactly what most asked for/needed!
