Seems these things usually dribble out upon release - I view that as a good thing. Happy for somebody else's tank to be the guinea pig (though I appreciate that it's been amongst the beta group for a while). It's always hard to know exact demand for a new product - so sell them as you make them and everyone who wants one will get one. My tanks have been fine for 30 years without …. a few weeks or months wont change that.

DO NOT come into this thread with rational thought! That is not what this is about! We demand they release the Trident immediately and we will riot in the streets if they do not! ;Chicken ;Clown

I’m just glad I didn’t go with the alkatronic. I’m gathering gear for a build now and would love to incorporate a trident in here

I am not one to rant so I wont. However, I think what is the issue with everyone including myself is not knowing the release date. I understand Neptune is taking their time with the Trident and I 100% understand and appreciate them for that. I own a lot of Neptune gear and I love the reliable and top notch performance from them.

However what worries me is that we are no where close to seeing this hit the market otherwise we would have a release date by now. I think there is a worry that if we find out it isnt coming out until next year, etc then we will ditch the Trident and go to other systems from other competitors.

Again, I am 100% behind the Trident and have the money(hopefully enough) set aside to purchase one. I would just like to know how long to hold this money for. I dont need an exact date. Heck I would be happy with a quarter projection.

Also.....we are 15 posts away from 2000. Just saying... :-)

Guess the release date as May 5th. Make it a party for a couple reasons! Margaritas and Trident release. Seems like a good day to me.
That would be great would make for a great birthday for me

I was thinking it might be on the 1st

I hear we are down to the final count down of days to a few weeks. Rumors are distributors are slowly getting more info now.

I hear ya and I trust it is close as well. Just wish Neptune would release some info. What could it hurt?

The anticipation is killing me
Oh by the way 10 more posts

My guess on why is because if something happens and they slip the release date then there will be an uproar and everyone calls it a crap product . If they dont release the date, there is an uproar, but it is not negative and keeps the hype going so it makes sense.

I'm just bringing up another scenario to add to the discussion... one where everyone here, myself included, has no clue what it has taken or will take for the Trident to launch.

It's one thing to bring something up once. It's another thing when people get angry, rant, and rave over something they should realize they have nowhere near enough information to even get mad. This post has been mostly beating the same dead horses over and over and over again. I would say that maybe we should stop beating the dead horses, but I know that won't happen. It's just what people do, for whatever reason. I grow wary, but also know it is to be expected.

What are the competitors to the trident?
When I say competitors I am referring to automated testing. We all know who the other automated testing companies are and I am not going to name them for the sake of this thread. Apex is it's own unique system as it works directly with its own proprietary software. I get that, I like it, I own it and that is why I am all in for the Trident.

Just wish I knew when to start expecting to see it on the shelf.
