Trident high pitch whirring noise

I just setup my brand new trident yesterday and I find it to be pretty loud
I have my tank in my bedroom and I only have room for the trident on top of my control panel and when it performs a test it emits a high pitch whirring noise.
Most of the opinions and reviews I’ve read have said it was quite silent but i guess with it being in the open in a smaller room that’s not the case.
Has anyone had this issue or have any advise?

Mine has always made a kind of high pitch whine when it starts up.

I just got one recently myself and was disappointing to find out how loud it is. Will be moving it into a cabinet after the tank move but I don't expect it to make a big difference.

There is definitely a noise to it when testing. You could go in and change the programming of when it tests so it won't test while you sleep? Do so at your own risk but might be worth it

Mine makes the same noise. It's a lot quieter than the DOS but not silent even in a small cabinet.

I would just change your schedule to it doesn't run while you are sleeping. I run min at 8am combined test and 8pm alk only.

It makes some noise. That high pitch noise and some clicking. Mine is kept inside a cabinet.
