so i set up my trident and i wanna test it 2 make sure evrything is ok but i do not know how also the front of the module is blue which i know is not good i updated the software and still the same does is need more time to set up or did i do something wrong

Mine took a long time to go through the initial set up. But mine also got stuck during the process. I restarted it and then it just worked.

Blue light means the unit is testing or priming etc. Did you follow the initial setup instructions?? The process takes hours, literally. It will also do an initial test during this setup. Its really self explanatory if you just follow the setup in the tasks menu. Also check out neptunesystems.com/getstarted for more info.

it showed me my parameters once it was set up alk 8.28 cal 427 mag 1333 is this normal now it shows (idle) on top normal or still setting up i did everything like the video showed so really not sure

Yes, that is the normal display. It will show you the results of the last test(s). If you click on that tile with the results in it, you will cycle through different information. You get graphs for each test, remaining reagent levels, and waste container level. It will say idle in the corner when nothing is happening. When the Trident is testing it will display what test it is performing. When the Trident is priming it will also tell you. All of these tasks will be accompanied by a blue light on the Trident itself. Once the Trident is set up, it runs by itself.
