Trido's 210 In-wall

Assuming some of these stags shared rock with other acros, after you removed the stags how did you address (remove) what was left over/encrusted on the rocks?

Thanks!
I didnt remove the encrusted parts. Most of them died at the base due to lack of flow or light. In some cases I smothered the last bit of lift and in other places the corals are slowly growing back.

Only a couple of the monsters came out in one piece

What do you do with those big colonies?

Nice to meet you Ashley. Not necessarily the best way to introduce yourself. I've been in the hobby for 15 years and yes, have had red bug, Also have had Acro Flat worms, vermetid snails, pyramid snails, majano, aptasia, Alkalinity of 16 and alkalinity of 6. Red bug is very easily treated with interceptor aqured from the vet. Flat worms require a lot of work and can also be treated and cured.

very nice to meet you friend just how do you overcome flatworms?

Sorry, I dont want nothing to do with you. Go ask someone you haven't offended on your first meeting. Have a good day. I'll teach someone who has manners and knows internet etiquette.

I was thinking the same thing when they posted. Not a good way to chime in and it was 6 years ago...smh. I was waiting for your response and it didn't disappoint. There will always be those that try to find the negative in everything. Looking forward to your updates!

Just went through a very long and old thread, and you have an amazing tank! Awesome to see the progression as well as the ups and downs. Great job ! Made me a believer in trying out black box leds

@trido how are you doing? How's the reef?
The reef system is doing great despite my lack of work on it lately. I’ve recently added more WAV pumps for a total of ten on the system. My old, and new Gyre pumps were slowly dying and I like the WAV pumps better for ease of programming and cleaning. Plus no special module or third party app to control them for tank maintenance. Today I’m working on a repair from a leaky bulkhead I replaced last summer. After 15 years we’re moving away from the grey paint to a brown of my wife’s liking. This is the perfect time for special projects.
