So just a quick post. Decided to get out of the hobby due to busy life , ageing parents and crazy busy. Well sold off my frag tank and some misc. equipment and had my main tank spoken for but could not bring myself to let it go. The buyer was very cool about it and understood, which made it easier . I've been into reefing for about 6 years and the thought of not having one kind of freaked me out and happy I decided to keep it. Well like it's been said before just when you think your out it pulls you back in.:D

Happy to keep you around

Thanks , happy to still be here. The people on this forum are very cool , and with all the bs going on in the world today , it's nice to have a place were you can talk about something we all share.

Sometimes just dialing things down a bit to more manageable levels can make a huge difference.

Absolutely , My dt was managable but when I set my garage up as a fish room and things just got out of hand

A few years back I got discouraged by a 45g FOWLR which had problems with algae. The tank also had a broken center brace and was bowing out in front, so I retired it and put it out by the street, intending to retire from this hobby. Not so ! The wife put down her foot and said we gotta have an aquarium, so here it now is ! A 60g FOWLR !

Starting another build soon, red sea 200xl cube. Always wanted to do a 24x24 cube. Will post pictures.
What are your plans for the tank? Maybe a simple softy tank would not be a burden on your busy life.

Most likely mixed reef. I think looking back on it, the reef tank kept me more relaxed and gave me something else to think about besides all the bs going on in the world today.
